Tip on Bone Diet for Older "Obese" Dogs

Here is a tip from one of our PetPlace.com users:

My best friend Deuce is over weight and getting older. He loves to chew his rawhide bones. In an effort to aid his weight loss program, I purchase a non-edible bone and put a fingertip of peanut butter in the groove. This seems to hold his attention for a while and because of the small amount of peanut butter he can have it many times in the day without adversely affecting his calorie intake.
