1. Balanoposthitis
Balanoposthitis is the medical term used to describe inflammation of the penis and prepuce. There are a variety of causes of balanoposthitis – most often bacterial infection, although viral and even fungal infections can also be the cause.
2. Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH)
Benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), or cystic hyperplasia, is an age related change of the prostate where the prostate increases in size. It is the most common disease of the prostate, and occurs in almost all intact male dogs as they age.

5. Cryptorchidism in Dogs
Cryptorchidism is a condition present at birth in which one or both testicles fail to descend into the scrotum from where they develop in the abdomen. The undescended testicle is usually underdeveloped and non-functional.
6. Dystocia - Difficult Birth in Dogs
The act of delivering puppies, or whelping, is usually a natural process for dogs, but there are occasions when normal birth is difficult or even impossible. Dystocia, or difficult or abnormal birth, is a common problem in veterinary medicine.
7. Eclampsia in Dogs
Eclampsia is the acute life-threatening disease caused by extremely low calcium (hypocalcemia) in lactating bitches. It is caused by loss of calcium in the milk often combined with poor dietary calcium intake.
8. Epididymitis and Orchitis
Epididymitis is the inflammation of the epididymis, the elongated cordlike structure along the edge of the testis that provides for storage, transit and maturation of sperm. Orchitis is an inflammation of the testicle.
9. Interstitial Cell Tumor
An interstitial cell tumor is a benign tumor of the testicle more common in older dogs. Castration is the treatment of choice and is curative, but the best preventative measure is to neuter your pet.
10. Mastitis in Dogs
Mastitis is a bacterial infection of the mammary glands, almost exclusively seen in females, usually lactating females. It is a fairly uncommon condition, but occurs more frequently in bitches (female dogs) than in queens (female cats).
