Should I breed my cat so my kids will learn about life?
By: Dr. Jon Rappaport

Our question this week was:

Should I breed my cat so my kids will learn about life?

Answer

Thanks for your question. The short answer is no. Why not? There are thousands and thousands of unwanted cats put to sleep every year in the United States. In my opinion, there are other ways to help kids learn about life. Take them to a zoo, find a farmer friend that will allow you to watch a cow give birth to a calf, watch a discovery film, or read a book.

Best of luck.
