By: Dr. Jon Rappaport

Do you have any recommendations on cat flea and tick medicine?

There are several cat flea and tick medicines available on the market. Fleas and ticks are irritating pests for cats as well as their owners. Getting rid of these creatures can be achieved through the use of certain topical cat flea and tick medicines such as Frontline Top Spot® and Frontline Plus®. |Frontline Plus® contains a product that kills adult fleas within 24 hours and kills juvenile fleas and eggs as well as ticks. Another cat flea and tick medicine that works to eliminate fleas, ticks and acts as a heartworm prevention is called Revolution®. There are other medications that work to eliminate cat fleas but only a few products that work to eliminate both cat fleas and ticks. These cat flea and tick medicine products are safe and widely used.
