I have a kitten that has a large lump on his throat, what is it?

Answer

Hi – thanks for your email. A lump could be a tumor or an abscess. It is hard to tell by your email which it is. I'd recommend having it checked by your vet. Either way, it is abnormal. A couple articles that might be useful include Abscess in Cats and Cancer in Cats.
