How many cats do you have? Is one enough, or do you need at least two or more? Most people have more than one cat but...most people start off with just one.

We commonly get the question, such as this one sent by Jan Finley from Spartanburg, SC who asked, "Could you address the issue of obtaining another cat as a companion for my cat"?

This is a great topic. Thank you. This can be a difficult decision for many cat owners. And if you do it - it is important to do it right.
