Keeping your cat's teeth healthy can help keep your cat healthy. Daily brushing is the best way. Use a soft toothbrush, such as a child's toothbrush. Rubber finger caps with bristles are also available. Use toothpaste formulated especially for pets. Begin by only brushing the outside surfaces of the teeth. When your pet has adjusted to this, add the inside surfaces between the teeth and tongue. After cleaning, be sure your pet has access to fresh water. Praise often and generously!
