Dr. Jon - My cat is an outdoor cat during the day but kept inside at night. She was using the litter box nightly until I changed the brand of cat litter and now she does not use the litter box all.

Hi – thanks for your email Claudette. You wrote that you recently changed brands of litter and now your cat won't use the litterbox at all. That is a relatively common problem.
I'd recommend going back to the old liter as soon as possible. Some cats really have preferences of type, texture and smell.
