Hi – thanks for your email. Your question was - If a female cat gets fixed does it still go into heat? The answer is no. Once a cat is fixed (spayed) she does not continue to go in to heat. In fact, many owners spay their cats to eliminate the annoying heat cycle behavior as well as eliminate the chance of pregnancy and unwanted litters of kittens.
