Our question this week was:Dr. Jon - HELP! What do I do when my cat pants and makes weird noises? He is obviously distressed.....I had him at the animal hospital last night....We are waiting for blood tests to come back but I'm looking for a more immediate/temporary comfort thing to do....He did the exact same thing last night which resulted in my bringing him into the hospital.
Sue HynesAnswerHi Sue– thanks for your email. Sorry to hear about your cat. You are saying that he is panting and making weird noises. That is not normal. I'd recommend to have your cat evaluated by your veterinarian or local emergency clinic.
