Our question this week was:Dr. Jon - My cat is throwing up this yellow foamy stuff. what is wrong with him?
Heather NiewierskiAnswerHi Heather– thanks for your email. There are many causes for vomiting in cats. It can be anything from plant ingestion, dietary change, dietary indiscretion, foreign body ingestion, metabolic disease such as diabetes mellitus, kidney failure, or inflammatory bowel disease just to name a few.
If the vomiting is persistent, your cat acts lethargic, is loosing weight or not eating, I'd recommend that you take him to your vet for an evaluation.
