Pawlitical Poll - Cats Vote for President – Who Does your Cat Want in the White
By: Petplace Staff

The presidential debates and elections is almost all you hear in the news. It seems like every other word out of a newscasters mouth is Obama or McCain.

But what about their pets? For the past two presidential election years, we created a survey and allowed you to vote for the presidential pet that you would most like in the White House. This year, we can't do that because one of the candidates doesn't have any pets.

What pets do the candidates have? Here they are:

  • Barack Obama - has no pets, but has promised his children a dog.

  • John McCain – Sam the English Springer spaniel, Coco the mutt, turtles named Cuff and Link, Oreo the black and white cat, a ferret, three parakeets and 13 saltwater fish.

So...we thought we'd let your dog vote anyway. After all, we believe your cat is important and should have some rights!
