Here is a tip from one of our PetPlace.com users:

Our kitten Phoebe loves to chase a laser pen, its her favorite toy. She runs up the walls and clings to the curtains (only if you put the laser pen there!!) She can now recognize the sound of the laser pen when you pick it up and will run around hunting for the beam until she can find it.

It is an inexpensive toy that keeps them entertained for hours...especially good for housecats, exercise and the ability to act out they're natural hunting instincts.
