Tip on Water to be Used in Pet Fountains

Here is a tip from one of our PetPlace.com users:

I have been seeing much information regarding children having more cavities and thinner porcelain on their teeth. It is thought the problem is caused partially from children drinking more filtered water and bottled water. Tap water has added fluoride and natural minerals, which filters remove.

We have changed our own drinking habits and drink at least 50% tap water. We give our cat's only tap water. Sometimes we take 'improvements' too far and create a problem in the interest of making things better.
