Our question this week was:Dr. Jon, What do you think about vitamins on cat food. I spray 3 sprays of vitamins on my cat's food each day. I do feed them fairly good food, but I believe the vitamins help their overall health, and provide something that the food may lack. Your thoughts please
Pauline "Polly" GrangerAnswerHi Polly – thanks for your email. You wrote that you use spray on vitamins on your cat's food every day. I think if the vitamins are from a reputable company – they should be fine.
If you are feeding a good quality premium cat food – I don't think it is necessary to use supplemental vitamins. If you are not – then vitamins are a good idea.
