Hi – thanks for your email. You wrote saying that your cat "suddenly wants to lie in the litter box."

This worries me a little as some cats will hang out or lay in the litter box when they don't feel good. That is my biggest concern. Cats that are lethargic, weak or just don't feel good will sometimes do that. In addition, some cats with urinary problems will also do that.

Make sure your cat is eating and drinking well. Monitor all urine and bowel movements. See if your cat will "play". If you notice any abnormalities, I'd recommend that you have your cat checked by your veterinarian.
