Our question this week was:Can I put Visine® in my dog's eyes? Will it hit hurt them? I think my dog's eye is getting dry.
Tammy SmithAnswerThanks for your email. You wrote asking if you can use Visine in your dogs eyes. The answer is preferably no. My concern is why is your dogs eyes "dry"?
If there is a medical condition causing this – there are much more effective medications to help.

The best thing to do is to have your vet evaluate your dog's eyes to determine if there is an underlying problem that can be treated.
If you want to use something – I'd stick to plain saline eye drops – with no additives.
