I recently heard about another benefit to having pet insurance that I thought I'd share with you. To be honest, this is one that had not occurred to me. The letter read: "I would like to thank Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) for giving our family the best gift we could ever have. Let me explain. Our dog (Samantha) got lost and we called our animal hospital, put up flyers, stopped at every house, dog shelter, and police station for 4 days. We were in so much pain of not knowing where she was. Then we got a call from VPI Pet Insurance that someone had found our Sammy (we live in New Salem, MA) and the funny thing is, is that the person called our Vet with the tags from them and they said they had no information. He then called the pet insurance tags and that's how we found her, but the thing is we haven't had the insurance for 2 years!!!! VPI WAS WONDERFUL!!!! So we'll be signing up again with pet insurance because without it we would have never found our Samantha!!!! THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!!!"
