Our puppy of the week is from Kendall Park, New Jersey.



Jacqueline, Xuxa's (Shoosha) Owner writes:


I rescued Xuxa from MAESSR (Mid-Atlantic English Springer Spaniel Rescue)where I also volunteer. Her and her 2 sisters, Yoko and Victory, were surrendered by a breeder in PA after learning that their parvo care would cost more than $400 and he was going to euthanize them.

Sadly the fourth sister didn't make it. The vet in PA contemplated putting her down twice because her condition was so bad and not improving. She was basically dead when they came into rescue but all the girls did a miraculous comeback and all were adopted out.

Her name means Queen in Portuguese because she is the ruler of my heart!
