Hi Jennie – thanks for your email. I'm sorry for your loss. You asked if you should report your dog's death to the microchip company.

My answer is yes. You don't HAVE to, but it would be nice. IF nothing else, they won't bother you about renewals or updates. I'd also contact your veterinarian so they can pull his file, make a note and also not send you reminders for annual care.
