My dog was hit with a broom. Can dogs get headaches?

bull that was in a dog fight with the neighbor dog the neighbor hit my dog in the head with a broom several times even though the fight was his fault he knows his dog attacks my dog and he let her out with mine. I need to know if it is possible for my dog to have a headache after being hit in the head with a broom. She is not acting the same. She seems down and not her playful self. She usually comes when you call her right away now she does not come at all.

Hi – thanks for your email. "Headaches" have not been well documented in dogs. I think it is possible.
