Cat Cookies

  • 1/2 cup finely grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 small garlic clove finely minced

Cream the cheese and fat. Add garlic. Mix in flour. Sprinkle with 1 teaspoon cold water. Form into a ball. Roll out and cut with cookie cutter. Bake at 375 degrees until slightly brown (about 10 minutes).

    Company Breakfast

  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated cheddar cheese

Mix all ingredients. Serve at room temperature.

    Sunday Salmon

  • 1/4 cup canned salmon (with liquid)
  • 1/4 cup flaked instant potatoes (uncooked)
  • 1/4 teaspoon brewers yeast

Combine and mix all ingredients well. Serve at room temperature.

    Heavenly Hamburger

  • 2 ounce hamburger (cooked)
  • 1/4 cup flaked instant potatoes
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • catnip (optional)

Mix ingredients thoroughly. Dust lightly with catnip if desired. Serve at room temperature.

    Creamed Tuna

  • 5 tablespoons creamed cottage cheese
  • 3 tablespoons canned tuna
  • 1/4 teaspoon corn oil
  • catnip (optional)

Mix ingredients thoroughly. If desired, dust with a little catnip. Serve at room temperature.

    Dog Biscuits

Combine 1 cup flour, ¾ cup whole wheat flour, ½ cup wheat germ, ½ cup dry milk, ¼ cup bran and 2 tablespoons (1/3 packet) nutritional yeast. Cut in 6 tablespoons shortening.

Beat together 1 teaspoon brown sugar with 1 egg and stir into the above. Add water gradually to make a stiff dough. Knead on floured board until dough is smooth and pliable. Roll ½ inch thick. Cut. Bake at 325 degrees until lightly browned-approx. 30 minutes.
