I wanted to take a moment to talk about dog heart health.
Heart disease and stroke are the world's leading cause of death in humans, but did you know heart problems commonly affects dogs too?
In humans, It is estimated that at least 80% of premature deaths from heart disease and stroke could be prevented by controlling the main risk factors: tobacco, diet and exercise. Heart health is an important subject for our pets as well. In fact, they can get just about every type of heart problem that we humans can. That's why it's so important to feed your dog a healthy diet and to provide plenty of opportunities for exercise.
