When do puppies open their eyes?
By: Dr. Jon Rappaport

Our question this week was:

When do puppies open their eyes?

Jamie Stokes

Answer

Hi Jamie– thanks for your email. Your question was – when do puppies open their eyes?

The answer is - Pups are born blind with their eyelids sealed shut. By the time they are 2 weeks old, the eyelids are open and the puppy begins developing his vision.

Best of luck!
