Our question this week was:After reporting on the millions of animals killed every year, you also support breeders. Lots and lots of pure breed dogs are in the shelters and breed specific rescue groups. Why not provide the resources for people to find their "designer" dogs from these organizations instead of supporting breeders.

I'd say we support responsible pet ownership - whether it be purebred or mixed breed. We support spay and neuter programs to minimize the millions killed at shelters. We believe that if you are going to get a dog, you should do it right and be informed.
