My name is Lisa, I am the proud owner of the world's cutest Beagle named Dazy. Dazy will be 1 year old in late August. My uncle and aunt's dogs Maggie and Sticks are the parents of my Dazy. She is the smartest dog I have ever encountered, she is curious and playful and also timid at times. All my life I wanted a Beagle, I just never thought I would ever get one. Then a few years back my uncle and aunt got their Beagle "Sticks" and then 2 years later Maggie, their other Beagle they adopted, last year they had puppies and I just had to have one. We also have another wonderful dog named Luke he is a Golden Lab/Retriever and the best dog, however he is very spoiled or shall I say loved and the thought of bringing a new puppy home, well he just wasn’t going to have anything to do with it, and my husband his number 1 person in his life, well he loves all dogs too but he said No we can't get a puppy because Luke would get to upset. Well I kept trying to convince my husband and Luke, our kids didn’t need any convincing they wanted a puppy! And our relatives were ready to give us one of the puppies, so I took my husband out to my Uncle's to just "visit" the puppies, and of course he was falling for them but nope we went home puppy less that day. So I had my aunt send me some pictures of the pups and every day I would put a picture in my husbands lunch box with a note from the puppies and finally he couldn’t take it anymore and he said ok let's get a puppy and hope Luke adapts. Well at first we were to get a boy pup but instead my uncle told me I could have the cutest puppy of the bunch she also was the smallest one (she almost didn’t make it when she was born, her mother had the pups by c-section and Dazy was the last one to be born and was blue when she was born, the vet had to help bring her to life) but the spunkiest and it was Dazy! She came to live with us and it's been wonderful. Luke adapted to her (it took awhile he was real jealous) but now she can do just about anything and Luke lets her. Our oldest son wanted her named spelled with a z instead of Daisy he wanted her name to be unique and that she is. She is totally loved. Before we had 2 sons and 1 daughter now I feel as if Dazy is another daughter, our daughter is going away to college this fall and I feel that God helped bring Dazy into our lives so we won't have such a hard time when our daughter leaves this fall. Dazy completes our lives, everyday is a learning day for her and us and she learns so much each day. She has gotten bigger but pretty much has stopped growing now, she is about 22 lbs and her doctor says that's about as big as she will get. She is very healthy and has never had any health problems. We love her very much and I would recommend to anyone to get a Beagle, I thank god for Dazy everyday, she loves to be outside and she's always tracking things around in the back yard, she loves ice cubes and sleeping under a blanket. She always has to be awake when everyone else is or she thinks she's going to miss something and when I get home from work or my husband or the kids she and Luke are always waiting by the stairs and she comes down the stairs doing this wiggle, and I call her Miss Wiggles and she lights up and gets excited.Lisa W.
