Beagle - My Inheritance, Jessica the Beagle!

Just recently, I acquired a great pet! Her name is Jessica, and she is one of the best inheritances I ever could have received. My dear Aunt passed away, losing her battle with breast cancer, and she left me her best friend.

Jess is so comforting that it is like having a little piece of my Aunt around. My son had desperately wanted a beagle for years, and she is a great dog! She is so very smart that she amazes me. She enjoys long walks and playing tug-of-war and mostly stuffed animals.

She was my Aunt’s constant companion in her long illness, and was a source of support and love, which we all know is completely unconditional. She looks so worried now, if any of our family coughs or is sick. She is terrified of storms and needs covered up with blankets, when one is happening.

I am going through a divorce and she has been a real source of warmth and company for the entire family and me!

We are so lucky to have her in our family during this stressful time, and she is like a little piece of Aunt Pam, whenever our extended family is around. She has seen this family through insurmountable fear and distress, and I feel so blessed to have her, and it never fails to bring a tear to my eye, when I think about the fact that Aunt Pam trusted us with her best friend!
