German Shepherd Dog - Jakie saved my sanity

My Dog Jake is the most amazing thing; he was my light in such a dark hard time in my life. My husband of 4 years left me for a "friend" of mine when I was only 4 months pregnant. Jake was beside me all the way he followed me everywhere and he snuggled up beside me at night and gave me a reason to get up in the morning.... to feed him.

When I went to the hospital all I could think about is how hard it was to go to sleep without him beside me or at the end of the bed. It was a long 5 days at the hospital and now it warms my heart to see that my now 2 1/2 year old daughter has this wonderful bond with our Jakie boy.
