Molly came into our family one week ago today. She was 7 weeks old. I have had two goldens in the past, Samantha and Tasha. I lost Tasha 4 weeks ago after 12 years of total devotion. It was extremely hard to lose her but after a month I was ready to get another. Molly is such a joy. Having a puppy around is different as Tasha hated being in the house and was an outside dog. Now we have the cage and the dog toys but we love her. She has not had an accident in the house and cannot come into our living room, which she now has learned and doesn't even try. She sits at the doorway into the living room or lies there. She loves to go out with us in our speedboat for a day of fishing. My husband takes her swimming just about every day and she is a "kid magnet". She asks to go out and loves the 5-month-old kitten we have that is our granddaughter's. Molly thinks that "Ragamuffin' is hers and they love to play together even when Molly gets a little rough. When its time to come in, Ragamuffin sits on one side of the screen door and Molly sits on the other side and they talk to each other. I am so partial to Goldens as each one I have had has been the best dog and they absolutely love children and with 7 grandchildren, 3 of whom are here all of the time, that is necessary. I know we will have many years to come to enjoy our little golden bundle of joy and laughter!Sherry
