I met Yoshi when I started dating my current boyfriend. The first time I walked into his house I was bombarded by this huge pile of fluff. It was love at first sight! Yoshi is the craziest dog I've ever met. She has the most adorable and effective ways of getting attention.
When I'm standing up and she wants me to pet her, she will scoot closer and closer to me until she's practically climbing up my leg. When I'm lying on the couch, she'll come up and nose her head under my hand and move it back and forth in a "petting" motion until I scratch behind her ears and pat her on the head. She even follows me into the bathroom!
Yoshi also loves to be outside. Her favorite outdoor pastime is chewing on rocks. Yoshi has a large collection of rocks in her kennel outside. Whenever she finds a new one, she'll carry it around in her mouth for a while, and then deposit it into her stash.
Although Yoshi is adorable and very fluffy, she's also a scared-dog. She is afraid of everything, including thunder, plastic bags, and cameras. Being a Golden Retriever requires having a lot of fur, and Yoshi is no exception. She is the fluffiest thing I have ever seen! "Fluffy" is even her nickname.
Every spring, my boyfriend's parents cut ALL of Yoshi's hair off, until she looks like a big yellow rat. Not only does it keep her cool all summer, but it also proves that Yoshi isn't fat, she's just fluffy!
