I was fostering the mother of my dog when the pups were born. There were a total of 5 puppies. The mother and 4 of the other puppies went to wonderful homes and I kept the 5th one, Lincoln. For their first birthday, I organized a picnic birthday party at a park for the mother and 5 one-year olds. It was great! It was fun to see how each one grew up with their personalities and how they actually looked, as the mother was a cocker spaniel and father a Labrador! It was also comforting to see that all of them had been placed into wonderful, loving homes.
