He has the kindest heart. When our new kitten was very sick, he was attentive, kind and interested in her well-being. He licked her and watched out for her with our other cat. When I'm down, he's right there to cheer me up. And when my husband is in his shop (which is almost all the time), he's right there watching. He just wants to be with us. And we couldn't love him more.Lately, Ben has been coming apart at the seams. He's 13, blind, diabetic, and has recently lost hair along his neck -- and now has something called "Cherry Eye."But he's a vital part of our family; we're doing what we can for him. And we love him dearly. Our days are growing short, but we're trying to make the best of what we have left.Tina - Phoenix, Arizona
