My cat Bear has been with me for 17 years. He was devoted and faithful to me even when I left him to live in another location where he could not join me. When I returned in 2 years it was as if I had never left! He has always been patient with me even when I did not demonstrate that toward him. He had a large vocabulary and often talked to me. He always slept on a pillow next to me. He was a good judge of people and I always trusted his like or dislike of a new person in my life, he was always right! He was our dog's best friend and open to all the changes that came into his life...he lived in 4 different states with us and made friends with most new animals that came his way. He was a Pacifist in nature. My best friend and the most awesome 'man' I have ever lived with.
