When I announced that I was getting a Yorkshire terrier my husband vowed that he would have nothing to do with such a prissy looking dog. He accompanied me to the breeder, and was rather indifferent as I was introduced to my tiny puppy and completed all the necessary transactions.
When we got into the car, the puppy made her way to my husband's side of the car, got up on his shoulder, and nestled in the crook of his neck, and that's where she spent the entire ride back home. Needless to say, after 6 years, Angel is the apple of his eye and can do no wrong. She has him wrapped around her little paw and he can't get enough of her yorkie kisses. She has helped him to be much more receptive to the way of the dog, and to better understand the unique bond that develops between human and animal companions. And I have both my loves to keep me warm!!
