We received this email that we want to share with you as a response to our foreclosure article about pets being left behind.

We live in the county and over the years have acquired numerous dogs and cats. We still have 2 of the dogs and 4 of the cats. The cats were the hardest to convince that we didn't want to hurt them. People should realize that these animals have gone thru a lot and make the most wonderful pets. Ours shower us with so much love. Our Humane Society helped us with some of the spaying/neutering costs when we needed assistance. Importunely they had to disband here.

We don't want anymore pets but if dumped here will keep them if we can't find homes for them. We also have collected a few chickens that fell of the trucks.
