Tip on Disposing of Needles for Diabetic Pets

Here is a tip from one of our PetPlace.com users:

One good way I've found of disposing of used needles for diabetic pets OR humans (I've had to give my husband shots also) is by placing them in an old milk jug. You could also use a Coke bottle or anything else that is thicker plastic material such as this. Just use a red sharpie marker to indicate that hazardous materials are enclosed. By doing this, you prevent anyone who may have to handle your trash from getting poked with a needle whether it may be harmful to them or not.
