Tips on Preventing Hairballs in Cats

Here is a tip from one of our PetPlace.com users:

M & C makes a cat treat called "de-furums" which has a hard cookie-like shell on the outside, and on the inside, is a little bit of laxatone (I think that's the ingredient). I break open two of these and my cat will eat them (over the course of a day or two), without getting all messy, and has not had any hairball issues in a very long time. As for food, she has been on Science Diet (1-6 year Adult Hairball formula). Hope this is helpful to someone out there!
