My best tip: If you have a dog that loves to eat and never seems full, add green beans to the dog kibble. I'm able to keep my beagle feeling full and at a healthy weight by supplementing the normal amount of kibble with a cup of green beans at each meal.
It doesn't matter if they are fresh or frozen. If using frozen beans, I let them defrost and come to room temperature first. Broccoli is a good filler food too. Just, never feed your dog onions.
