About 6 weeks ago we found out that our miniature schnauzer, Fritz is diabetic. Fritz is 6 years old and loves his treats. We had to change his diet and give him 2 shots a day. I still wanted him to have some treats so I take his Hills w/d canned food and place it by the teaspoon on a cookie sheet and bake it at 400 degrees for 30 min. and there are his treats. Does he love them. If any one has other ideas for a diabetic dog, please let me know. Thanks alot.
