Here is a tip from one of our PetPlace.com users:
My little dog “Jewels” was licking her front paws continually. They were turning orange and I had no idea what to do to stop her. I tried a few things like mustard, salt, pepper, and none of it worked. I was at the doctor’s surgery and was reading a handy hint for dogs that licked their paws. It said to put some perfume on their paws, low and behold I tried it and I can say it totally works her paws took awhile to turn white again, they are as they should be white once again.
