Our question this week was:
My sister has a poodle that barks constantly she has him to the vets regularly with a cough, they give her antibiotics. Could the constant barking cause the cough. Regards
Linda L.
Answer
Hi – thanks for your email. Interesting question. You wrote that your sister’s poodle barks a lot and has a frequent cough that is treated with antibiotics. You asked if the barking and respiratory infection is related. The answer is probably not. Just like…I don’t think people that talk a lot should are be predisposed to respiratory infections.
