Hi – thanks for your email. You wrote that your dog likes to eat roadkill (animal killed by the side of the road) and you want to know if it is dangerous and if there is anything you can do. The answer is yes. Whatever “roadkill” your dog eats can certainly be spoiled or laced with bacteria that can make your dog sick. How do you stop him? Prevent access! Keep him in a fenced in yard or on a leash.
