What is NAIFA? I was reading and article about pet insurance and saw a reference to NAIFA? Can you tell me what it is?

NAIFA stands for National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. It is an organization that was founded more than 120 years ago as The National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU). Their members are businesses that offer services including life insurance and annuities, health insurance and employee benefits, multiline, and financial advising and investments.

NAIFA represents the interests of insurance professionals in the United States by advocating for legislation and regulations to enhance their business. NAIFA also promotes the ethical conduct of its members.
