Hi – thanks for your email. You wrote asking what is a normal temperature in a dog. A normal rectal temperature in a cat is considered to be around 100° Fahrenheit to about 102° Fahrenheit. You will read slightly different normal for different animals but that is about it. Yes, the normal temperature in a dog is about the same as a cat.
