What kind of food has a complete meal in a bone?

Our question this week was:

A recent newsletter had a product that was a complete meal in a bone. I seem to have deleted in and am having trouble locating the product on the web. Help, please.

Answer

Hi – thanks for your email. You asked about what was the food we discussed in a newsletter that was a complete meal in the shape of a bone.

It was called Wholemeals. This food is made by Mars® and is a complete nutritious dog food that comes in the shape of a bone. Their studies suggest that dogs like it better and there is a substantial reduction in tartar and plaque as they are required to “chew” their food rather than swallow it whole. It takes a dog about four times longer to eat and is more “natural”. It is a really interesting concept.

For more information, go to www.wholemeals.com

Best of luck!
