Our question this week was:
Can Baytril be given subcutaneous to a cat?
Hi – thanks for your email Jodi. Your question was about Baytril and if it can be given subcutaneous to a cat. Baytril, as you may know, is an antibiotic commonly used to treat a variety of infection. It comes in oral and injectable forms.
It is recommended to give injectable baytril by intramuscular infection only.
An article that might be helpful to you is a drug profile on Enrofloxacin (Baytril®).
Best of luck!
