Alett Mekler MA (Econ), DVM, CCRP, CVMA

Dr. Alett Mekler is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College in Ontario, Canada. After receiving her veterinary degree, she went on to intern in Small Animal Medicine at the University of Illinois, as well as in Veterinary Oncology at Michigan State University. In addition to her veterinary training, she also holds a Masters of Arts in Economics from York University in Toronto.

After spending several years in general practice, Dr. Mekler decided to pursue specialty training in Canine Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee and in medical acupuncture through Curacore in Ft. Collins, Colorado. Dr. Mekler applies the principles of rehabilitation to help animals with strength, flexibility, and pain relief. In her spare time, Dr. Mekler enjoys running, cycling, and eating ice cream with her husband Hugh, as well as hanging out with their fur babies Toblerone, Fig, and Aero Cat.
