PetPlace.com is truly a one-stop hub for all your pet needs. Account holders interested in adopting can fill out a pet match survey, get search alerts for new adoptable pets in their area, and keep track of submitted adoption inquiries.

Also, adopters who started their search experience using PetPlace’s pet adoption search feature can:

How do I create a PetPlace account?
  1. Click the Log In button located in the upper right-hand corner of any page on the PetPlace site.
  2. A pop-up window will load. Click the “Sign up now” button in the bottom right-hand corner of the pop-up window.
  3. Another pop-up window will load. Enter your email address and click the “Send verification code” button.
  4. Once you receive the verification code by email, enter it into the “Verification code” box and hit “Verify code”.
  5. Once your email address has been verified, enter a password of your choice, confirm the password, and provide your full name and zip code. Once all fields are complete, click the “Next” button.
  6. On the “Set your communication preferences” screen, fill out all fields and click the “Continue” button to create your account.
  7. Once completed, click the Log In button located in the upper right-hand corner of any page on the PetPlace site to access your account.
What do I do if I forget my PetPlace account password?
  1. Click the Log In button located in the upper right-hand corner of any page on the PetPlace site.
  2. A pop-up window will load. Click the “Forgot your password” link.
  3. On the next screen, enter your email address and click “Send verification code”.
  4. Once you receive the verification code by email, enter it into the “Verification code” box and hit “Verify code”.
  5. Once your email address has been verified, click the “Continue” button.
  6. On the next screen, enter your new password and re-enter to confirm, clicking “Continue” when finished.
  7. Your password has been updated. Click the Log In button located in the upper right-hand corner of any page on the PetPlace site to access your account.
